How do you burn a downloaded show to dvd?

I just downloaded Season 4 of Grey's Anatomy and I'd like to know how to burn it in a dvd that could play on standalone dvd players. I downloaded it in AVI format. I'm new to burning dvd's so I need a really thorough explanation.

1. If you have Windows DVD Maker, just drag all the episodes to that and burn
2. get some kinda burning program like "Nero" or some kinda program whtever you like.. then get a DVD-R disc put it in your DVD drive which is in your pc... then burn the movie to the disc with the program, easy :D
