What do you do when the drivers don't show up on your dvd burning software?

My computer's dvd drive did work with a dvd burner software and now in the dvd burning software, it doesn't show any drives. And I tired other dvd software and all will do the same thing.

1. make sure your dvd drive still work on your windows, you may click 'my computer' and check if you can still see the drive if not, try to 1) re-connect it, 2)uninstall and reinstall it on your windows, 3)clean out the upper and lower filters in the Registry that were corrupt.
