How do I watch a dvd on my computer if my software has been deleted?

When I bought my computer I was able to watch dvd's on it. Now my computer has been wiped out & everything re-installed a couple of times. Obviously the dvd software wasn't added back onto the hard drive. Is there any good free or not too expensive software for watching dvd's I can download to get it to work? Thanks...

2. Please set up again the Windows program perfectly and you can try to play DVD

You can use Windows Media Player or look at http://download.com/ or somewhere else for alternatives for playing dvd's. or if your computer has Application & Driver Recovery Program This would install the application that came with the computer. The location or link may depend on the computer, if not I recommend looking for another program.
