What video/photo DVD creation software is best?

I would like to make home DVD with photos and video photage, I'm willing to spend about £100 ($200) on the software any ideas? If you have used it and its on the net that'd great to see and give me an idea of what it looks like. Thank You

Depends a lot on your definition of 'best' - everybody will have their own particular choice of what is best for them - regarding screen layout, controls etc. which is why many of the consumer end (<£100) editors will give you a one month free trial to see if it is right for you. 2. I use ArcSoft ShowBiz and Nero 6. Showbiz for editing, nero for writing. Showbiz is $100 http://www.arcsoft.com/estore/ and you can get Nero 6 for about $20 on ebay.
3. roxio media 9 suite,it handles many different formats,works on both xp and vista($50-$100)depending on needs
