What is the best software for video editing and dvd creation?

I'm looking for a good all in one video editing and dvd authoring software package. I don't need a professional solution, but would like to have as many features as possible...including flexible editing tools and many effects and motion menu templates. Some I've been looking at are: Sony Vegas Studio Platinum Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Adobe Premier Elements Any Suggestions?

Both are professional. And both are used widely for many different things. It is up to you. Which ever you work with best is a good determining decision.
