DVD Creation Software

CD/DVD creation (burning)?

I just bought a mad dog 16x dvd burner from radio shack. All the system things match or are beyond what the minimum is. My problem is that it came with Roxio software. A certain version that just wont install. I have Windows ME and I dont want to update for I will be gettin a new computer here in a few months. Is there any completely trusted, free, and EASY to use free ware or downloadable software that could help me with all kinds of media types. I am kinda thinkin about a few but I dont want to really buy anything else after I bought this burner....Can someone please help me?

1. Window has it's own burner too. Simply drag those files you want to burn & drop them on CD/DVD drive icon.
2. get ulead which is free one month trial it can burn data files, create audio cds, create a dvd or a vcd from any video source just click and drag. If you like it you can buy it
